MINI PROJECTS

207 PETIR RD, BUKIT PANJANG, SINGAPORE

RESIDENTIAL

These renders showcase my design vision for a residential space located in Singapore. Guided by the clients' desire for a serene ambiance infused with natural, earthy tones, I drew inspiration from the harmonious blend of Japanese Wabi-Sabi and Scandinavian hygge principles, encapsulating the essence of the Japandi concept. The kitchen features elegant terrazzo tiles complemented by sleek leather laminate cabinets and warm wooden elements, evoking a sense of tranquility and balance within the home.

BARCELONA PAVILLION

EXHIBITION/RETAIL (SURF SHACK)

These two renders were created in Year 2 when Autodesk 3dMax was taught to me. I was given the 3D model of the Barcelona Pavillion and was told to create and interior and exterior of two different monetary programs. This project may be small, but it is my personal favourite. I had fun expressing myself through the use of colours and materials, which I love to experiment with the most.

IDYLLIC
3-FURNITURE CATALOGUE

For this project, I was tasked to create a matching set of a table, chair and lamp. This production of images were made to display my techniques with compostion, lighting and materials, as well as how I create custom furnitures to experment with in a given space. Again, I had the freedom to showcase my uniqueness when it comes to colour. It was a good attempt for my first 3D modelling project.

LASALLE WINSTEDT CAMPUS - SPLIT

RESIDENTIAL/EXHIBITION

This project was one of my first attempt at spatial planning and seriously executing it as a whole package; technical drawings, model making, consultations and presentation. It was inspired by a series of concept models displaying ‘floating’ rooms through bridges and voids. The sun roof allows natural light to seep through the voids, down to the exhibition space on the first floor. It also allows residents/visitors passing through their space to look down into the exhibition space as well.

CASA LUSCHER RASI

RESIDENTIAL

The desired location of property is on a hill, the goal of the project traces the original architect’s (Herzog de meuron) efforts to establish a bond between the steep slope and the structural typology of the home. This existing project was given in Year 1, I made my first attempt at model making and technical drawings when it was introduced to all newcomers of Interior Design.

LASALLE STUDENT LOUNGE - TADAO ANDO

EXHIBITION

Surprisingly, I managed to build this model in Year 1 through trial and error, without technical drawings since it was only taught in Year 2. It is quite noticeable that Tadao Ando was the inspiration, this is due to how I presented the materials used, such as the greyboard, and its minimalistic and contemporary look that suits the use of Ando’s signature style; shadow and light.

OTHER AUTOCAD WORKS

SKILL

These series of technical drawings were assessed to test the accuracy of my skills when it comes to the authenticity, as well as, how complex and detailed my AutoCad drawings could be.
